Footnote – Centre for image and text
In the spring of 2021 Allan Parker and Mia Cuk founded Footnote Centre for Image and text at Strahinjica Bana 12 in Belgrade. Over the next two years we mounted exhibitions with residents and visitors and collaborated with The Artists Union, the Student Biennale, Belgrade Photo Month, and the Academy of Fine Arts (Belgrade), The Austrian Cultural Foundation and many other organisations and individuals. We aimed to offer an alternative model for graduate and post-graduate study in photography, publication, print and text, while residents were with us. In 2023 we moved to another location at Kralija Milutina 27. We are taking a break from offering accommodation, and since mid 2024 although the organisation continues to make presentations and produce printed materials.
